Trimming & Landscape Maintenance

Most landscape plants need annual or bi-annual trimming, whether to preserve a loose, natural form, or to create a tight, compact shape.  Each individual tree or shrub has its own, unique trimming  needs depending on the variety and desired result.Trimming requires knowledge of plant types, growth habits and flowering or fruiting characteristics.  The time of year  is also important in order to stimulate growth, maintain a healthy plant and preserve buds on flowering plants and fruit trees.

At Hills Landscaping we provide expert trimming as well as edging of your landscape beds, we then finish with a mulch of your choice.

Lawn Installation

Installing a new lawn usually requires a number of considerations:

ELEVATION- The new yard may require the addition of soil as well as proper grading to achieve correct drainage.

SEED- Using proper seed will make a difference on how well your new lawn will come in.

SOD- Proper preparation and watering provide you with an instant lawn.

WATERING & CARE- Hills Landscaping will work with our customers to provide information on pre-care and after-care of the new lawn.
